This looks silly and gaudy; I know. But it’s nothing like the trends these days with cakes and cupcakes! This looks like stuff the home baker can do. But nowadays, we have access to fondant, gumpaste, and all the Wilton accessories, and we are sort of expected to come up with masterpieces of baking. Everything covered in slick fondant. Cupcakes are ONLY frosted with a big piping tip and whipped cream frosting. This is simple buttercream, smoothed with a spatula. And strawberry sauce! What’s better than that? I admit; I am a big fan of cookie decorating with royal flow icing. I love a perfect sugar cookie. Not into the cupcakes. But I drool in the Wilton aisle. Love it. I also love these nostalgic cakes, because Mom used to make us fancy cakes with coconut, just like the pink one. It’s my childhood.
All right, I suppose you might get a little suspicious, but yes, I was in the hospital again. It’s just been a little bit harder these days. So I sought a faith healing, but the CoS doesn’t do healings, they do sickenings. And I had to give one to myself. And with a sickening comes a Slack reduction. But with Mondo Diablo, comes Slack. So here it is.
